A Bain marie is a cooking/heating technique that involves using a water bath to gently heat or cook. The purpose of a Bain marie is to create a gentle, uniform heat around the product being melted/heated which helps to prevent it from curdling or scorching.
To use a Bain marie, a container filled with the product to be heated is placed inside a larger container that is filled with hot water. The hot water provides a gentle and even heat around the contents, which allows it to heat/melt slowly and evenly without becoming too hot or scorched.

The Bain-Marie will not allow the wax to overheat because it cannot exceed the water temperature.
Stainless steel and double walled with a lid, the water content is 250ml and for convenience, it whistles when water boils.
Capacity is 1.4 kg wax with a melting time of 20-25 minutes.
Please ensure the water does not boil dry to maintain a safe temperatures for the melted wax.
