Wellbeing at Randalls
How we support our employees
It has always been a priority at Randall’s to support each other and put mental health first. As well as being an open and non-judgemental environment for colleagues to talk about their lives and mental wellbeing.
Some of the key things we have implemented are the Employee Assist Programme which is 24/7 confidential access for the colleague, their partner, and children, providing counselling sessions, trauma support, day1 intervention for stress and online advice and support.
Each employee is entitled to take 2 Self Care days per year, paid and no notice required. Whether they spend it on a walk with your pet, curled up with a good book, playing video games, baking, or simply chilling out in bed all day - taking time to care for themselves will go a long way towards improving their mental health.
It builds confidence, relieves stress, improves productivity & creativity, and lays a foundation for building healthy relationships with us. As a family business we incorporate our values into our work. We have suffered and lived with mental health issues ourselves and promote anything that shows merit to providing calm in this frequently too chaotic world. The business we created was partly to help us on our journey, but through it we’ve had the tools to help others. With our line of calming fragrances designed to sooth the mind, we are aiming to help as many people as possible.
